in SIMCA-P

Now
the SIC method is implemented in MATLAB script-language.
The program includes two main modules: SIC_result and SIC_OSP,
named in accordance with their basic functionality. The
SIC_result module calculates the estimation of the maximum error
deviation Beta and SIC intervals, using the calibration and test
datasets, provided by the user. The SIC_OSP module employs the
output of the SIC_result procedure for calculation of the
SIC-Residuals, SIC-Leverages and construction of the
Object Status Plot. The program author is a graduate student
Yury Zontov.

The
training course of Eugeny Mikhailov is over and he returned back
to Samara State Technological University. Jenya worked in the
group for one year, starting in September 2005. During this time
he has came to much: he presented a talk at WSC-5, sent a paper
to ChemLab, and wrote two more papers, which are to be presented
in the journals.
He has exerted himself a good fellow, a conscientious and diligent
student. We wish good luck to Jenya.
